When the world feels loud and your body feels tired, there’s something sacred about a bowl that brings you back to yourself. This Creamy Green Zen Bowl is exactly that—a grounding, comforting blend of plant-based ingredients that nourishes your spirit and soothes your nerves.
Made with soft green peas, steamed broccoli or cauliflower, and a swirl of oat milk, this recipe is simple, warming, and full of emotional healing energy. It’s not just food—it’s a ritual.
Why This Bowl?
In Zen cooking, less is more.
This bowl is designed to:
Calm your nervous system
Restore emotional softness
Gently detox your thoughts
Provide comfort without heaviness
Whether you’re in a Mars–Sun transformation cycle, grieving, rebirthing, or just tired… this bowl meets you where you are.

Ingredients:
1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen, thawed)
1 cup steamed broccoli or cauliflower
1/2 cup oat milk (unsweetened preferred)
1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp dried basil (or a few fresh leaves)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: 1 tsp toasted sesame oil (for depth and warmth)
Preparation:
Steam your broccoli or cauliflower until fork-tender.
In a small pot, combine peas, garlic, basil, salt, pepper, and oat milk. Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes.
Add the steamed veggies and blend until smooth, or mash gently for texture.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil, fresh herbs, or a soft sprinkle of chili flakes.
Flavor Profile:
Creamy. Herbal. A touch earthy with a soft sweetness from the peas.
The oat milk adds gentle body. The sesame oil deepens it with a warming finish.
Zen Ritual Tip:
Before eating, hold the bowl in your hands.
Close your eyes and breathe in the steam.
Ask yourself:
“What weight can I release right now?”
Eat slowly. Let the bowl ground your spirit as much as it nourishes your body.
Pair It With:
A soft blanket
A candlelit journal session
Rain sounds or gentle jazz
A reminder: You are allowed to be soft today.
